Tom Fielding, Member of the Australian PGA since 1979.


A comprehensive and highly successful background of international experience as a leading golf coach makes Tom Fielding the ideal person to be a golfer’s guide. 

From his extensive experience of golf coaching in Australia and Asia, Tom Fielding is widely known and respected for his work and results in successfully developing senior and junior golfers.

Firmly committed to the use of “state of the art” swing analysis, and other modern teaching aids, and methodologies, Tom is able to design highly personalised coaching programmes for each individual student.

Many years of successful coaching experience, and impressive results in Australia, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong and Singapore, enable Tom to quickly and accurately identify the technical and personal needs of our students, in order for them to achieve the desired level of consistent golfing progress.

Tom Fielding is a member of the Australian PGA since 1979, maintains the highest Australian PGA coaching accreditation level of AAA, as well as a level 5 Diploma is sports coaching from the Australian coaching council and has been listed in the top 50 golf coaches in Australia.

His appointments with National and regional golf teams, have included:

  • ·         National Coach, Malaysian Ladies Amateur Junior Team
  • ·         Technical advisor, Malaysian Amateur men’s golf Team
  • ·         National Coach, Singaporean Men’s Amateur Senior Team

As a result of his established reputation as a leading international golf coach, Tom Fielding has worked with, and currently maintains excellent relations with many leading international golfers and coaches, including, Peter Senior, Gary Edwin, Steven Bann, and Dale Lynch. This in turn, has involved him in also working with many of the other Australian players currently enjoying success in Australia and overseas.

After completing his traineeship with Glen Waverly Golf course, Victoria, G.C. Tom’s subsequent major appointments have included:

Singapore:

A) Keynote speaker at the 2008 inaugural Singapore PGA teaching seminar.

B) Chief operating officer & Head Instructor, Star Golf Academy Marina Bay golf course

C) Head Instructor, Peter Senior / Gary Edwin Golf Academy, Orchid CC ;

Malaysia:

A) Director of Golf Academies, MST & Wilding Golf Academies, Malaysia ( 8 locations ) ;

Australia:

A) Head Instructor Titanium golf school, Club Pelican golf, 

B) Director of Golf, St Paul’s International School Golf Academy

C) Head Coach, Pure Golf academy, Sanctuary Cove GC, Queensland campus. 

D) Instructor, Pure Golf Academy, Melbourne campus, owned and operated by Steven Bann, dale Lynch and Ian Baker-Finch. This company had direct links to the Victorian Institute of Sport;

E) Assistant golf professional, Sheraton Mirage CC;


Japan:
